A little introduction
Welcome to the Seniors Website. We hope you will have a good time whilst you are having a look around and and getting a feel for what it is Seniors Clan has to offer. Just to give you an idea, Seniors clan has almost 100 members, coming from all over the world, but mainly Europe. Ages range from 25 (which is the minimum age to join SNR and become a member) to 63.
The games we play
Seniors Clan is what is called a 'multi-gaming' clan. We are not focusing on one single game, but we try to provide a gaming environment that suits the needs of all our members.
First person shooters (FPS)
Since the beginning of |SNR| Seniors, we've been playing FPS games. In fact, we originated from an earlier clan called |BIA| Brothers in arms which was solely focussing on the game "Medal of Honour : Allied Assault". Currently we're actively involved in the following games :
- Call of Duty (4 and 5)
- Counterstrike:Source
- Battlefield 2 & 2142
This doesn't mean we're restricting ourself to these options though. We are co-locating our own Gameserver, so we can quickly pick up on any new game that comes along if there's enough interest within our little community.
Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games
Over the last 2 years, there has been a growing interest in so-called MMORPG games like
- World of Warcraft
- Guildwars
- EVE Online
- Age of Conan
- Lord of the Rings : Online
- Diablo
We try to organize things in such a way that we have a guild in any game we are actively involved in so our members can benefit the most from the game's resources.
Real Time Stragegy
Another development that we've seen with Seniors Clan is the slow rise of the Real Time Strategy genre. Nowadays you can find quite a few members of Seniors playing this kind of game way into the early hours.
The following games are currently actively played:
- Command & Conquer
- Red Alert 3
- Supreme Commander
This is dedicated to our good friend Billy
All of us Seniors members are deeply saddened by his passing on and we wish to pass on to his wife and family, our sincerest condolences.
We all feel honoured to have met him and to have played online alongside him on the virtual battlegrounds. He will always be remembered with great fondness and we'll miss his fantastic sense of humor and gentle spirit.
